Background: |
The Chili Cook-Off contest began in April with contestants submitting their dish at a neutral location within their respective groups. The idea behind the contest was to encourage fun and engagement at work. Contestants were allowed to enter one submission and the recipe must be of their own creation. The winner in this first round received a gift card and an invitation to compete in the final round. Winners from each group were entered into the final round at the Sierra Coastal District Headquarters located in Santa Clarita P&DC. Winners will receive a gift card, an apron, and title of Sierra Coastal District’s “Chili Master.” Media Alert: Please call 510-671-4934 to RSVP and receive entry instructions into the facility. The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations. |
