Background: |
The Lomita Postmaster will meet and greet customers and will provide a facility tour and answer questions about carrier and clerk job duties, as well as Passport Acceptance. The Marketing department will have a Business Development Specialist on-site to sign up customers for Informed Delivery. The Postal Inspection Service will also be present to speak about Mail Fraud. USPS coloring books for the kids will be provided. Also, there will be a photo opportunity with a carrier satchel in front of a Postal Long Life Vehicle (LLV). The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations. |
