BELLVUE – The spread of the High Park fire has forced the Postal Service to relocate all Bellvue Post Office operations to nearby LaPorte.
The decision affects approximately 400 Post Office Boxes and approximately 1,200 street delivery addresses.
All mail destined for a Bellvue address will be available for pickup after 2 P.M, at the LaPorte Post Office located at 2724 N. Overland Trail until further notice.
Additionally, 650 addresses in the 80526 ZIP Code, Fort Collins, could not be made because of road closures. All deliveries west of the Dam Road, off West County Road 38E, were returned to the Fort Collins, CO, Post Office, located at 301 Boardwalk.
Future delivery decisions will be made after consulting with local emergency managers.
Key points:
- All addresses in Bellvue, 80512, will be made out of the LaPorte Post Office
- All addresses west of the Horsetooth Dam Road off of W. County Rd 38E will be delivered out of the Fort Collins Main Post Office.
