VAIL, CO — Aleicia Dickson was recently competitively selected as the Postmaster of Vail.

She is the 9th Postmaster in the history of the city.

Dickson is eager to help guide the all-important mail operations in the valley. 

“What we do affects every person, every day,” she said. “Serving our residents and visitors is an important function of the public nature of what we do.”

Dickson has been a customer services manager in Casper, Wyoming and previously in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She started her postal career in Lewiston, ID.

“I love the area and the people are unique and interesting. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming to me.”

Her biggest challenge is keeping the Post Office staffed.

“We offer great career opportunities and the ability to provide a valuable service. Our employees are very dedicated.”
