MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Post Office is offering a free seminar to help local merchants “Grow Their Business.”  The event will take place on September 16, 2014 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the Post Office, located at 11 Silver Street in Middletown.

The seminar will offer teach attendees how to target an audience with a free online mapping tool, how to obtain demographics, number addresses and real time costs, how to complete required paperwork and provide innovative marketing tips and strategies.

The seminar will focus on Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM), which allows businesses to market their business to any area without using a mailing list or a permit for as little as 17.5 cents for each Direct Mail marketing piece. In addition to EDDM, postal experts will discuss other services available, including those that provide the best economy and efficiencies for small shippers, like ebay sellers.
