Bethesda Post Office Moves, Arlington Station Closes

New Post Office offers Full-Service Convenience

BETHESDA, MD — Bethesda Main Office will close Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon. On Monday, May 21, 2012 retail operations will reopen at 6900 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20815. The new station is 5 blocks from the main Post Office and has 1,000 P.O. Boxes. Parcel lockers are available. There are two Self-Service Ship and Mail Centers for customers’ convenience. Retail hours are:

9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Arlington Road Post Office will close on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with no further retail operations. Carriers will be relocated to other postal facilities and continue to serve Bethesda customers. All “Notice Left” articles will be available for pick up at the Bethesda, Chevy Chase Finance Station at 5910 Connecticut Ave., Bethesda MD 20815, located less than 2 miles from Arlington Road Post Office. Retail hours at Chevy Chase are:
