WASHINGTON – The Postal Service will open a new Post Office in Bethesda, Maryland.
The Postal Service plans to lease space that will be constructed in the upcoming Westbard Development on the corner of Ridgefield Road and Westbard Ave. The development will be built on the site of the current Westwood Shopping Center and will be transformed into a mixed-use town center with several retailers and homes.
The exact location and timing of the Post Office opening is to be determined as it is dependent on the development’s construction timeline. The Post Office will be accessible via public transportation and will cater to the several thousands of residents in the Bethesda area.
The Postal Service will update residents as the construction moves forward.
