Passport Fairs in the DC Area

WASHINGTON — If you plan to travel outside the U.S. this spring or summer, the Postal Service is making it convenient to obtain a passport by hosting a one-day Passport Fair at several Post Offices this Saturday, March 25, 2017.  

Passport services will be available at the following locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Greenbelt Station – 7600 Ora Glen Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770
Beltsville Station – 10901 Rhode Island Ave., Beltsville, MD 20705
Westlake Station – 10421 Motor City Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817
Wheaton Station – 14431 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902
Rockville Post Office– 500 N Washington, St., Rockville, MD 20850
Aspen Hill Station – 1430 Connecticut Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20906
Landover Hills Station – 7500 Buchanan St., Landover, MD 20784
Hyattsville Post Office – 4325 Gallatin St., Hyattsville, MD 20780

And at the following locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Brentwood Post Office – 900 Brentwood Road NE, Washington, DC 20066
Friendship Station – 4005 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20016

“This Passport Fair will provide applicants with one-stop convenience,” said Washington, DC Postmaster Gerald Roane. “Applicants can walk-in, have their passport photo taken and submit their applications without an appointment.”

The U.S. Department of State has detailed guidelines for preparing your passport application and supporting documents. To save time, you may fill out and print a passport application online in advance of the event by visiting the U.S. State Department website http://travel.state.gov. Please ensure that your application is completed in black ink and that you have the required U.S. citizenship documentation as well as identification and payment when you arrive for the fair.

Customers who cannot attend the fair but need a passport can schedule an alternative appointment at www.usps.com. Under the Find Locations tab, select Passports to locate a nearby USPS passport processing office. Call the office using the number provided to schedule an appointment.
