Mr. Zip’s Tip:
For nearly 100 years, postal employees, charitable organizations, corporations and individuals have volunteered to help children and families in need have happy holidays by answering letters to Santa.
A special letters to Santa writing station will be available. Families can have a photo taken that can be used for holiday greeting cards from NetPost Cardstore; a valid e-mail address is required to complete the process. Children will be able to guess the number of candies in a jar, complete a holiday paper maze, and get a holiday face tattoo.
The children will be able to make a snowman finger puppet and learn how to remove used stamps from envelopes in order to start a stamp collection. In addition, V.O.I.C.E. representatives will be on hand to provide fingerprinting for the children. Adults will have an opportunity to see a Click-n-Ship demonstration, which enables you to print postage for your holiday packages from home with FREE delivery confirmation and FREE carrier pick up of the package(s). Those participating in all the activities will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket.

A self-supporting government enterprise, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that reaches every address in the nation, 150 million residences, businesses and Post Office Boxes. The Postal Service receives no tax dollars. With 36,000 retail locations and the most frequently visited website in the federal government, the Postal Service relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses. Named the Most Trusted Government Agency five consecutive years and the sixth Most Trusted Business in the nation by the Ponemon Institute, the Postal Service has annual revenue of more than $68 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail. If it were a private sector company, the U.S. Postal Service would rank 26th in the 2008 Fortune 500.
