Post offices will be closed on Dec 25, 26 and Jan. 1

Changes in retail hours:

Retail lobbies at Post Offices in the North Florida District will be open Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31. But many will shorten their hours on Christmas Eve, closing at noon. Mail delivery Dec. 24, is not affected by the change in hours. Post offices will post their revised hours and customers may call 800-ASK-USPS for information about specific Post Offices.

Post Offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 25, Saturday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Jan. 1. Express Mail only will be delivered on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in most major metropolitan areas.

USPS is asking commercial customers to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for holiday hours of operation. Some will have modified hours of operations on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

The North Florida District is comprised of ZIP code areas: 320 – 326, 344. Geographic Area Includes the Florida Panhandle, Pensacola to Jacksonville and south to Ocala.
