Tampa, FL — The U.S. Postal Service today recognized PostcardMania with its Creative Business Solutions Award for the company’s commitment to a successful business partnership with the Postal Service. A select group of postal customers is acknowledged and recognized for their contributions to the continued success of the mailing industry at the annual National Postal Forum.
The Creative Business Solutions Award, one of three “best in class” awards presented annually at the Forum, recognizes customers who are creative risk-takers using the mail in new and different ways to help achieve their company's business objectives. They create mail that gets noticed and integrates seamlessly with a larger vision. It's mail that stands out and, even more important, gets results. When you see it, you react, "Now, why didn't I think of that?"
PostcardMania is a full-service postcard direct mail marketing company and a leader in innovation in the postcard marketing industry. Established in 1998 by owner and CEO Joy Gendusa, the company has helped businesses in over 350 industries nationwide expand through the use of direct mail marketing techniques.
PostcardMania employs over 190 people. The company offers free marketing advice, print and design services, mailing lists, addressing and mailing for their customers. The majority of these services are available through their award-winning website, www.postcardmania.com. They continue to add products and services that enhance the return on investment for their postcard marketing clients. PostcardMania partnered with U.S. Postal Service (USPS) in a Sales Direct Mail Effectiveness Program for the Southwest Area.
Special training was provided to the sales team on sales initiatives to engage small- to medium-size businesses in the use of direct mail marketing. The training materials and manuals covered all the services offered by PostcardMania that make them a one-stop shopping solution. The program is ongoing as the sales team continues to direct customers to PostcardMania’s website and demonstrates the value of direct mail. A live chat area was created on their
website for USPS Sales to ask questions about the program. This sales initiative has been a positive partnership for both companies.
PostcardMania realized an expanded client database and increased sales while the USPS realized an increase in direct mail volume. PostcardMania continues its partnership with USPS by being one of the first companies in the Suncoast District to use Full-Service Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) and by acting as a consultant to other businesses that want to use Full-Service IMb. They use Confirm with planet codes on their mail for clients and Priority Mail and Express Mail Open & Distribute. Their work with the Suncoast postal plants and Business Mail Entry Units on new mailing designs enables smooth processing with the automation equipment.
PostcardMania was nominated for this award by Lind Welch, USPS Vice President, Southwest Area.
“We are pleased to recognize and honor PostcardMania for its innovation, creativity and leadership,” said Welch. “By helping businesses in over 350 industries nationwide expand through the use of direct mail marketing techniques, PostcardMania has produced winning business results and supported the mailing industry.”
The National Postal Forum is the mailing industry’s largest trade show and networking event for industry professionals.
