Plant City Downtown Post Office Temporarily Closed

PLANT CITY, FL – The U.S. Postal Service will temporarily close the Plant City Downtown Post Office, located at 301 W Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563, on June 27.  The office will close due to an emergency suspension due to conditions of the building. 

All retail and PO Box services will be moved to the Plant City Walden Woods Main Post Office at 2501 Walden Woods Drive, Plant City, Florida 33566, effective June 27.  Customers will keep the same PO Box addresses they had at the Plant City Downtown Post Office.  Customers with notices to pick up mail or packages will pick up their mail at the Walden Woods Main Post Office beginning June 27.

Lobby hours at the Walden Woods Main Post Office are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Customers may purchase stamps at the following retail locations in Plant City: 

  • CVS Pharmacy, 403 N .Alexander Street, Plant City 33563, 0.6 miles away.
  • Walgreens Pharmacy, 2102 W Baker Street, Plant City 33563, 1.0 mile away.
  • Publix Supermarket, 2515 Thonotosassa Road, Plant City 33563, 1.2 miles away.

These locations sell stamps at the same prices available at the Post Office. 
Customers can also mail packages, purchase stamps and conduct other Postal business online at www.usps.com.
