USPS, eBay to host ‘Grow Your Business’ workshops

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The United States Postal Service invites small businesses to attend a free Grow Your Business workshop on Thursday, November 14, to help entrepreneurs and proprietors promote their businesses using direct mail, without the cost of mailing lists or permits.

The workshop will be held in connection with an eBay education specialist and will include four sessions at the Westland Post Office, 7055 Blanding Blvd, in Jacksonville starting at 10 a.m.

The Grow Your Business segments will show attendees how to select a campaign message, target an audience and prepare Every Door Direct mailings on their own or using mailing house vendors. Topics include ways to eliminate mailing list needs, target every address, reduce production costs, and simplify the mailing process.

Attendees also will learn about USPS’s new Direct Mail Hub, a website that has simple, cost-effective ways to tap into the marketing advantages of Direct Mail.

The eBay sessions will teach how to set up an account, eBay buying and selling strategies, eBay ins and, how to ship domestic and international products.

10 a.m. Grow your business with Every Day Direct Mail
11 a.m. Introduction to eBay
1 p.m. Grow your business with Every Day Direct Mail
2 p.m. Beyond the basics of selling/shipping on eBay.
