Background:

The National Safety Council recognizes safe driving performance of professional drivers who have proven their skill in avoiding traffic accidents. The Million Mile Award is the highest honor for professional safe driving performance.

According to the National Safety Council, more postal employees have achieved the prestigious distinction of driving more than one million, accident-free miles, than drivers from other businesses. No other business comes close.
