Fort Lauderdale, FL --- Effective September 7, 2017, the South Florida District of the U.S. Postal Service is temporarily adjusting all operations in the South Florida Post Offices ZIP Codes listed below. Delivery and retail operations, as well as drop shipment acceptance, have been suspended until further notice.
Updated Closures/Impacted Offices:
All Post Offices/Stations/Branches/Finance Units within the 3-Digit ZIP Codes of 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, 340 and 349 will suspend Retail Operations, Delivery Operations, Business Mail Entry Operations and Drop Shipments at close of business, September 7, 2017, until further notice.
Effective immediately Priority Mail Express and the shipment of LIVES have been temporarily adjusted to the following 3-Digit ZIP Codes 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, 340, and 349 through close of business Thursday, September 14, 2017.
As conditions improve, the Postal Service will provide additional information on restoration of service, including the delivery of mail and the reopening of Post Offices. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.
