Boca Raton, FL — The U.S. Postal Service is in the process of renewing the lease to continue to offer retail services from its current location at the Boca Raton Downtown Post Office at 170 NE 2 ST, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

Postal officials and the landlord are working on a long-term agreement to stay at the current location.  The Postal Service also considered community input based on a March 29, 2018 public meeting in making its decision.

This decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives. Postal Service operations are not supported by tax dollars. To be self-sustaining, the Postal Service must make decisions that ensure it provides adequate and affordable postal services in a manner that is as efficient and economical as possible.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
