Atlanta, GA—All Atlanta-area Post Offices will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of the July 4th holiday, Atlanta District postal officials have announced. There will be no regular mail delivery; however, Express Mail Overnight Service will be delivered on Saturday as usual. Many area Post Offices will close early on Friday, July 3rd. Contact your local Post Office for July 3rd hours in your area or call: 1-800-ASK-USPS.
The Atlanta Main Post Office, 3900 Crown Road, normally open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight throughout the year, will close on Friday, July 3rd at midnight and re-open on Sunday, July 5th at 6:00 a.m.
The Hartsfield/Jackson Post Office, located in the South Terminal of Hartsfield/Jackson Airport, will close as usual at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3rd and re-open on Sunday, July 5th at 6:30 a.m.
All area Post Offices will re-open for business at their normal hours on Monday, July 6th.
