Jekyll Island, St. Simon and Sea Island, GA Post Office Operations Temporarily Relocating to Brunswick, GA Post Office

BRUNSWICK, GA — Due to storm-related impacts from Hurricane Matthew, postal operations for three South Georgia Post Offices, Jekyll Island, St. Simon and Sea Island, will be moved temporarily, until further notice to the nearby Brunswick Post Office, located at 805 Gloucester St., Brunswick, GA 31520.

Mail for post office box customers in Jekyll Island, St. Simon and Sea Island will be available at the Brunswick Post Office retail counter during regular business hours – Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Post Office Retail and Delivery Operations will also be temporarily relocated to Brunswick. Customers receiving delivery attempt notices will be directed to collect packages and sign for their Accountable mail at the Brunswick Post Office.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to our customers and will be working to restore Post Office operations in Jekyll Island, St. Simon and Sea Island as soon as possible.
