The USPS expects to process 611 million pieces of mail on Dec. 19; package volume this holiday season will be roughly 750 million packages, which reflects a 12 percent increase in such volume. During the tour, reporters are encouraged to arrange for a “live shot” for local news broadcasts. Press kits with holiday facts and information will be made available. (Note: Those who accept this invitation must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes; ladies’ heels must be no more than 1.5 inches in height.) Thank you. |
