Mail Service Update: USPS Temporarily Adjusts Hilton Head Operations Due to Hurricane Irma

HILTON HEAD, SC  — In compliance with Gov. Henry McMaster’s ordered mandatory evacuations of eight barrier islands in Beaufort, Jasper and Colleton counties, the U.S. Postal Service is advising customers that normal service operations have been adjusted in Hilton Head, SC.

THE FOLLOWING OFFICES SUSPENDED ALL DELIVERY AND RETAIL ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 9, 2017 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

  • Hilton Head Island, 10 Bow Circle, Hilton Head, SC 29928-9998
  • Hilton Head Fairfield, 213 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head, SC 29926

The Postal Service will be monitoring conditions and working to restore service as soon as it is safe to do so.  Additional information on restoration of services, including the delivery of mail and the reopening of Post Offices will be provided.
