Mail Service Update: USPS Adjusts Service Operations Due to Hurricane Irma

Greater South Carolina District — In compliance with Gov. Henry McMaster’s ordered mandatory evacuations of eight barrier islands in Beaufort, Jasper and Colleton counties, the U.S. Postal Service is advising customers that normal service operations have been adjusted in all offices.

THE FOLLOWING OFFICES SUSPENDED ALL DELIVERY AND RETAIL OPERATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

  • Hilton Head Island, 10 Bow Circle, Hilton Head, SC 29928-9998
  • Hilton Head Fairfield, 213 William Hilton Pkwy., Hilton Head, SC 29926
  • Beaufort, 50 Charles St. Beaufort, SC 29902
  • Beaufort Burton Station, 11 Robert Smalls Pkwy. Ste. C, Beaufort, SC 29906
  • Bluffton, 25 Thurmond Way, Bluffton, SC 29910
  • Bluffton Carrier Annex, 208 Red Oaks Way, Okatie, SC 29909
  • Walterboro, 333 E Washington St., Walterboro, SC 29488

The Postal Service will be monitoring conditions and working to restore service as soon as it is safe to do so.  Additional information on restoration of services, including the delivery of mail and the reopening of Post Offices will be provided.
