ATLANTA, GA — Postal officials have announced that only Priority Mail Express will be delivered and that Post Offices will be closed on Monday, February 20, in observance of the President’s Day federal holiday. Normal mail delivery, postal retail operations and mail collections will resume on Tuesday, February 21.

Business Mail Entry Units (BMEU) will be open for commercial customers Monday, February 20. Customers are asked to check with their BMEU for hours of operation.

Postal customers have many options for postal services even when the regular Post Office is not open.  Customers should visit www.usps.com. and go to the tools drop-down menu and then to Post Offices and Approved Postal Providers to enter a city and state to find postal providers in their area. Many Post Offices also offer 24-hour self-service kiosks at some locations, which also can be found online.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
