ATLANTA, GA — The U.S. Postal Service will relocate the Embry Hills Main Post Office to a larger, yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current site, located at 3579 Chamblee-Tucker Rd.

The Postal Service will continue retail services in the current Post Office until the new Post Office is up and running. The Postal Service does not anticipate any impact to mail delivery to Embry Hill residents and businesses. There will be no change to Post Office Box numbers or ZIP codes.

“The Postal Service greatly appreciates the input and support it has received from the community,” said Kurtis Bullard, Real Estate Specialist for the Postal Service. “The new location will allow us to better service our valued customers.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
