ATLANTA, GA — Several select Atlanta Post Offices will host passport fairs Saturday, June 23, 2018. Listed below are the participating offices:
- Boggs Road Postal Store, located at 1605 Boggs Rd., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Dacula Post Office, located at 470 Dacula Rd., noon to 3 p.m.
- LaGrange Post Office, located at 950 Lafayette Parkway, noon to 3 p.m.
- Lithia Springs Post Office, located at 2727 Skyview Dr., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Limestone Post Office, located 2490 Limestone Parkway, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sharpsburg Post Office, located at 6545 Ga. 54, noon to 3 p.m.
- Stockbridge Post Office, located at 110 Walter Way, noon to 3 p.m.
- Toccoa Post Office, located at 41 Falls Road, Suite 101, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Smyrna Post Office, located at 850 Windy Hill Rd., 9 a.m. to noon
- Webb Bridge Post Office, located at 4575 Webb Bridge Rd., noon to 3 p.m.
In order to expedite the passport application process, customers are encouraged to complete applications before arriving. Customers should allow 15 minutes per transaction, depending upon the number of applicants in a transaction. All applicants must appear in person (including minors and both parents).
Passport fees are as follows: Adults: Books $110, Cards - $30; Children (under 16): Books - $80, Cards - $15. USPS Fees: $35 execution fee; photos (if needed) - $15.
Identification, including a copy, is required to prove U.S. citizenship, such as:
- Previously issued, undamaged U.S. passport
- Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county, or state (long form)
- Consular report of birth abroad or birth certificate
- Naturalization certificate
In addition, one current ID is required, such as:
- Naturalization certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Current government ID (city, state or federal)
- Current military ID (military and dependents)
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
