“We want to make the process of applying for new passports easy for West Oahu residents,” said Ewa Beach Postmaster Laroma Parker. “A lot of people don’t have the time during the week to drive all the way into Honolulu to submit their passport applications. We’re happy to leverage the convenience of the Postal Service to help our customers apply for new passports prior to the busy summer travel season.” To request an appointment at the Passport Fair, customers should email their names, phone numbers and preferred appointment times to HawaiiPassportFair@state.gov. Walk-in customers will be accommodated as time permits. For information on new passport application requirements, forms and fees, go to www.travel.state.gov or call the toll-free National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778. The Passport Agency reminds travelers to submit their passport applications as early as possible, far in advance of planned travel to avoid problems with receiving their passports. |
