COON RAPIDS, IA — Effective November 8, 2018, street delivery, retail and Post Office Box operations will resume at the Coon Rapids Post Office.  PO Box customers may once again retrieve their mail from their originally assigned PO Box on that date.

The office was temporarily closed in April due to safety concerns from a fire in an adjacent building and has been cleared for reoccupancy.

The Coon Rapids Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Post Office Box lobby is open 24 hours. 

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
