Postal customers in wildfire impacted area encouraged to pick up their mail at Pocatello Main Post Office

POCATELLO, ID — In response to the Charlotte Fire, postal customers affected by the wildfires may temporarily pick up their mail at the Pocatello Main Post Office, 730 E. Clark St., which is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Customers should bring a picture ID to pick up their mail.

Mail delivery will continue in the area wherever it is safe to do so. Where deliveries can’t be made, mail will be held at the Pocatello Main Post Office until it is safe to resume delivery. At this time, the Charlotte fire has affected approximately 1,300 deliveries in the 83204 ZIP Code area of south Pocatello.
