USPS joins South Bend/Ft. Wayne Customer Councils in National Event

INDIANAPOLIS, IN —In an effort to help businesses reach more customers, the U.S. Postal Service has joined with the South Bend and Fort Wayne Postal Customer Councils (PCC) for National PCC Day on Sept. 18, 2012. The event takes place at Juday Creek Golf Course, 14770 Lindy Dr., Granger, IN 46530.

With the theme, “Together Toward Tomorrow,” the one-day conference offers companies the opportunity to learn more about the Postal Service, receive networking opportunities, learn how to help grow their business, and receive the latest information on new and existing USPS products, services and procedures.

The main speaker at the event will be Great Lakes Area Vice-President of Operations Jakki Krage-Strako, who will talk about the current state of the Postal Service and how USPS plans to continue to play a vital role in the personal and commercial lives of all Americans.

The Postal Customer Council fosters and maintains a close working relationship between mailers and the Postal Service by helping members and their organizations grow and develop professionally through focused educational programs. It promotes cooperation and support between members and others who are dedicated to quality and efficiency in the mailing industry.

The one-day event costs $25 per person that includes a broadcast address by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, a discussion on how to use the Intelligent Mail Barcode tracking system to best advantage and a buffet lunch.

The National PCC Day event starts at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m.
