INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The U.S. Postal Service in the Greater Indiana District is seeking a few good men and women for the holiday season.
There are two positions available — Holiday Carrier Assistant and Holiday Clerk Assistant. The pay is $15.63 per hour for both positions, and it involves six weeks of work starting Nov. 14, 2015 through Jan. 8, 2016. Applicants can only work six weeks of that period.
Some features include:
- It’s very flexible you can work as many or as little hours as you want.
- There is NO testing required
- Applicants will be asked general questions
- Applicants will undergo a drug screen and background check.
This is NOT is a non-career position such as a City Carrier Assistant or Mail Handler Assistant, and will end after the 6-week period, and is a supplement to the USPS holiday staffing.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
