It was reported earlier today that the Northwood Post Office building had been condemned because of a sewage backup. That report was not accurate.
The Allen County Building Department closed the building today after posting a notice stating the building should not be occupied until it receives an all-clear following a final inspection by the Department.
Therefore, the Northwood Post Office is temporarily closed, and employees and contractors are working through the night to remedy the situation.
As a result it will be business as usual at the Northwood Post Office tomorrow, July 12, 2017.
