TOPEKA, KS — Topeka Postmaster Cindy Liptak announced that effective Saturday, June 21, the last pick up time for the blue collection boxes in front of the Topeka General Mail Facility at 1410 NW Gage Blvd., will change to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Previously the last pick up time for the boxes was 5 p.m. No other collection box times in the city are changing.

“This change is being made to better meet the mailing needs of Topekans,” said Liptak, who added all mail placed in the collection boxes by 6:30 p.m. will meet all service connections.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
