Background: |
As Wichita Postmaster, Knopik will be responsible for all retail and delivery operations in the city. Excellent mail service and customer satisfaction are high priorities for Knopik. “I want to make it a priority that every customer has a positive experience with the Postal Service not only with the delivery of the mail but at the retail counters as well,” said Knopik. “We will continue to provide the service our customers expect and deserve.” Knopik began his postal career in 1997 as a part-time carrier at the Wichita North Station. He has held several management positions, including supervisor, customer service at the Wichita Corporate Hills Station, and manager of the Wichita Munger Station. Prior to being named Wichita Postmaster, Knopik served as manager, customer service operations for the Wichita Post Office. Knopik was born and raised in Nebraska, and moved with his family to Wichita 25 years ago. He and spouse Kesa have three daughters and two sons. |
