Mail Delivered on July 3rd

Check locally on Post Office hours

June 29, 2009

LOUISVILLE, KY — Before heading to your local Post Office on July 3, check to make sure it’s open. Some Post Offices will be open regular hours, some will close at noon, some will have special hours and others will be closed the entire day. Regular mail delivery for this day will be unaffected by the change.

Revised hours will be posted at each Post Office. The Bulk Mail Entry Unit (BMEU) will be closed on July 3 and July 4. Customers requiring postal services later that day are encouraged to contact their local Postmaster.

Post Offices will be closed Saturday, July 4, and there will be no regular mail delivery except for Express Mail.

All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Monday, July 6.
