Fisherville Post Office Temporarily Closed

FISHERVILLE, KY – The Fisherville Post Office, 15125 Old Taylorsville Road, has been temporarily closed due to safety concerns after brown recluse spiders were discovered inside the building.

Post Office Box customers can pick up their mail at the Taylorsville KY Post Office, 800 Taylorsville Road today, April 27 and tomorrow, April 28. Starting Wednesday, April 29, PO Box mail will be available for pick up at Eastwood KY Post Office, 16207 Eastwood Cut Off Road.

“Our maintenance department is working expeditiously to get temporary Post Office Boxes in place at our Eastwood Post Office,” said Taylorsville Postmaster Sandra Caudill. “We apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused.”

A re-opening date has not been determined at this time. Exterminators are presently treating the building. “Once the all clear is given, the building will reopen and it will be business as usual,” added Caudill.

  • Finchville KY Post Office, 5655 Taylorsville Road.
  • Simpsonville KY Post Office, 6990 Shelbyville Road
  • Taylorsville KY Post Office, 800 Taylorsville Road

Stamps Only

  • Kroger, 12611 Taylorsville Road, Louisville (stamps only)
  • Fifth Third Bank, 13904 Shelbyville Road, Louisville (stamps only)
  • Walgreens, 13807 English Villa Drive, Louisville (stamps only)
