Postal Schedule for Independence Day

No Regular Mail Delivery, All Post Offices Closed

Presidents Day, President’s Day, or Presidents’ Day

KENTUCKIANA DISTRICT — In observance of the Tuesday, July 4th holiday, Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions.  There will be no residential or business deliveries, however, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year.  

Normal delivery and collection schedules will operate on Monday, July 3, and resume on Wednesday, July 5. 

Please note:

  • Stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy, and convenient stores.
  • For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, go to www.usps.com, where you can look up a ZIP Code, track a package, buy stamps, hold mail, print postage online, submit a change of address, schedule a package pickup and find USPS locations including self-service kiosks.


The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
