FISHERVILLE, KENTUCKY – It seems brown recluse spiders in Fisherville aren’t very…reclusive.

The Fisherville Post Office will temporarily suspend operations until the building is treated after Loxosceles reclusa were found during a regular inspection by an exterminator.

Customers may pick up their mail and access retail services at the Eastwood Post Office, 16207 Eastwood Cut Off Rd., 40018.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
