Lafayette – The Cade LA Post Office (70519) will remain closed, until further notice.  The Abbeville (70510), Erath (70533) and Delcambre (70528) LA Post Offices resumed full operations on Tuesday, August 16.

On Sunday, August 14, the Postal Service suspended operations at the Abbeville, Cade, Delcambre, and Erath Post Offices, due to flash flooding from torrential rain.

We sincerely regret this inconvenience to our customers. However, the safety and well-being of both customers and employees is of utmost importance to the Postal Service.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
