Baton Rouge – On Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, the U.S. Postal Service announced that the Denham Springs, LA Post Office (70726), located at 140 Del Orleans Avenue (70726), reopened to provide full retail services to customers. Since August, service has been provided from a temporary trailer location at the Denham Springs Post Office.
In August, the Postal Service suspended operations at the Denham Springs Post Office, due to flooding in several Louisiana cities.
As of Monday, Dec. 5, the Post Office returned to their regular operating hours as follows:
|
Monday – Friday |
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. |
We sincerely regret any inconvenience our customers may have experienced during this time and we appreciate their patience as we worked to restore full service at the Denham Springs Post Office.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
