BATON ROUGE – The Springfield Post Office, located at 32170 2nd St, Springfield, LA 70462, will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 15. Post Office operations were temporarily suspended due to flash flooding from torrential rain in August. The Postal Service appreciates the patience of our customers as repairs were being made.

Hours of operation at the Springfield Post Office, LA is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Post Office is closed on Sunday.

Customers are reminded that they may call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) or visit the Postal Service website, www.usps.com for information, including Post Office retail locations and hours of operation. The Postal Service’s smartphone app makes it even quicker to use the most popular functions on www.usps.com, anytime and anywhere.
