Charlie Brown and company visit the Eliot School

Boston, MA — Greater Boston District Marketing Manager Jim Holland, Postmaster Nick Francescucci and Consumer and Industry Affairs Manager George Kippenhan recently visited the Eliot K-8 Innovation School in Boston’s North End to unveil the new series of forever stamps featuring the lovable Peanuts characters from the Charlie Brown Christmas Special.

The timing of the stamps release corresponds with the 65th anniversary of the original Peanuts comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the television classic A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Students present learned about the Power of the Mail and a special Peanuts Stamp Plaque was presented to Principal Traci Griffith. Students also presented their postal guests with Eliot School Tee Shirts to commemorate the occasion.
