BALTIMORE – The Greater Baltimore Postal Customer Council (PCC) was honored on Aug. 2, 2018 at U.S. Postal Service headquarters in Washington DC with a Platinum Award for its contributions to the Baltimore, MD, mailing industry. In addition, Baltimore District Manager Dane A. Coleman was recognized with District Management of the Year Award for individual contributions for his outstanding leadership.
PCCs are groups of mailing industry and postal leaders who meet regularly to network and exchange mutually beneficial ideas. The Greater Baltimore PCC is one of more than 140 local chapters throughout the nation. According to industry studies, the U.S. mailing industry employs more than 7.5 million people and represents more than $1.4 trillion in sales revenue.
PCC awards recognized those who, over the course of the recognition period, have conducted numerous educational and networking events and have documents quantifiable achievements resulting in members’ support and satisfaction, or who have undertaken innovative measures to forge stronger partnerships between local mailers and the Postal Service.
The Greater Baltimore PCC Executive Board includes: Judith Antisdel, industry chairperson, from AT Direct; Tina Dickens, treasurer, from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid; Jennifer Hoyer, vice-chairperson/secretary, from Corporate Mailing Services, Inc.; and Le Gretta Ross-Rawlins, postal chairperson, Baltimore Postmaster.
