BATH, ME — The Bath Post Office will be hosting an afternoon of free seminars later this month to demonstrate economical postal products and services that can help grow a business or publicize community activities. Coffee and Refreshments will be served.

Bath Postmaster Lori Howe and other postal officials will cover subjects including how to apply for Bulk Mail, Business Reply and Postage Due permits. Attendees will learn whether their organization qualifies as a nonprofit which can further reduce their mailing costs.

An entire class will be devoted to explaining Every Door Direct Mail, a popular new product available to all customers which does not require a permit and allows economical mailing to a target audience, such as an entire ZIP Code or even a single letter carrier route for as little as 16 cents apiece

A Postal Service business solutions specialist will review all the newest low-cost postal products and services to help generate interest in anyone’s products or services.

Seminars will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. October 30 at the Bath Post Office, located at 750 Washington Street. There will be a brief intermission between each of the sessions to allow attendees to join one or all of the sessions.
