Wiscasset, ME — The Wiscasset Maine Post Office is undergoing construction as a handicapped accessible ramp is installed at the main entrance there.
The construction is expected to take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. During the interim, customers are asked to use the temporary entrance on the left side of the building (as you are facing the Post Office) to gain entrance to the Post Office. There is also a temporary ramp located there.
“We apologize for any temporary inconvenience to our customers during construction but are pleased to be able to provide access to all of our customers, regardless of any physical challenges they face,” said Wiscasset Postmaster Karen Cole.
There are no changes to hours of operation or to any services provided during this construction process.
