As you celebrate World Friendship Day next week and think about reconnecting with an old friend that’s moved away, we’re here to help.

On Friday, July 31st, the Boothbay Harbor Post Office will offer extended hours for processing of Passport Applications. Normally available from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Applications will be accepted on Friday until 4:00 PM and we can take your Passport photos for you when you come in.

Postmaster Lesley Blethen says “We understand that it’s hard for folks who work to get here in the morning and if holding an extended hours day can make their life a little easier, we’re all for it.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
