MI — The U.S. Postal Service wants this holiday season to be extra merry and bright for our customers. To help with the hustle of the holidays, several local post offices will be open for special holiday retail hours on the four Sundays leading up to Christmas Day — the dates are Nov. 30th, Dec. 7, 14 and 21. So mark your calendars, and beat the Monday rush by visiting us on Sunday.
“As we count down to the holidays, we know how stressful the season can be as we rush to get everything done on time,” said Customer Relations Coordinator, Sabrina Todd. “Opening on Sundays will help our customers’ check holiday mailing off their list,” he said.
“With a little help from the Postal Service, you can prepare your holiday shipments with ease so you can get back to enjoying this special time of year,” Todd said. “We expect to deliver about 15.5 billion cards, letters and packages nationwide this year, and we’re hoping that opening retail operations on Sundays will help smooth the process.”
