DETROIT, MI — The U.S. Postal Service wants this holiday season to be extra merry and bright for our customers.
Certain Post Offices in Southeastern Michigan will be open this Sunday, December 20th to help customers with their holiday mailing needs.
For added convenience, the USPS reminds customers that postal blue collection boxes are also a safe, secure and convenient option for depositing mail any time during the week – even on Sundays. Mail will also be collected and processed from blue collection boxes on Sunday, Dec. 20th.
“As we count down to the holidays, we know how demanding the season can be as we rush to get everything done on time,” says Detroit Postmaster Derron Bray. “Opening on Sundays will help our customers’ check holiday mailing off their list.”
