Background:

Through the White House Rural Council and the President’s “Made in Rural America” Export and Investment initiative, the USPS is working with other federal agencies to help rural businesses access new customers and markets abroad. The initiative was developed from initial rural forums to deliver technical assistance, increase participation of rural companies in trade events, and establish a new rural export team at the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration, and now a new and impactful collaboration with the USPS. At these local Post Office workshops attendees will learn how to innovate and grow their business internationally with USPS tools and applications created specifically with small business owners in mind.
