LANSING, MI — Post Offices nationwide will be closed Monday, December 25th, and Monday, January 1st, to observe the federal Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays.  Additionally, Post Offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th, and New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31st. Only Priority Mail Express packages will be delivered. 

Blue collection boxes are not serviced on Sundays and that will be the case on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve this year. Regular collections will be made on December 23rd and December 30th.

All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume after the holidays on Tuesday December 26th and January. 2nd. Additional Postal Service holiday information can be found at www.usps.com/holidaynews
