MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Effective November 19, 2018, street delivery will resume at the Loring Station located at 18 N 12th Street in Minneapolis.

Caller Service, Post Office Box Service and Retail operations will remain at the temporary location at the Main Post Office located at 100 S. 1st Street in Minneapolis. Retail window hours at the main facility are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Delivery customers may also continue picking up hold mail and notice-left items at this location. Customers may retrieve their mail with photo ID.

The Loring facility was temporarily closed due to an overnight fire on April 21.  Renovations are still in progress in the customer PO Box lobby and retail window area with expected completion after the new year.

The Postal Service will continue to do everything possible to provide uninterrupted service to the community while emphasizing the safety of our employees and customers as our first priority.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
