KANSAS CITY, MO – Eric E. Henry will become the eighth Postmaster of the Shawnee Mission, KS Post Office at an installation ceremony scheduled for Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center, located at 6200 Martway in Mission, KS.
Mr. Henry is a 20-year Postal Service veteran, who began his career as a letter-sorting machine operator in Kansas City, MO in 1993. Mr. Henry brings experience in both Customer Service and Mail Processing operations.
His experience includes assignments as Manager Customer Services; Route Examination and Adjustment Team Leader; Flat Sequence System Coordinator; Manager, Operations Programs Support; and Senior Manager, Post Office Operations.
Mr. Henry is an active member of the Greater Kansas City Postal Customer Council.
The Shawnee Mission Post Office and its 12 stations and branches deliver to more than 170,000 residential and business addresses and employ more than 500 people.
